What We Do
CERT programs train volunteers in basic disaster response skills to assist their communities during emergencies. It provides a standardized approach to disaster preparedness and response, enabling volunteers to support professional emergency responders. In addition to disaster preparedness we also offer training that addresses safety in our community regarding many subjects.
Roles of CERT Volunteers
Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) volunteers play a vital role in disaster preparedness and response. They are trained to assist their communities during emergencies. Here are the main responsibilities of CERT volunteers:

Support local emergency centers during disasters.
Event Participation
Staff booths at community events.
Help with traffic and crowd control at community events.
Community Engagement

Distribute information to the public about safety and preparedness.
